Ok so she didnt go in the office reg..... but some caseworker mustve known who she was and whether she was eligable.
Secondly, i know you can live where you want and claim housing benefit, but there is a cap on the AMOUNT thus she cant be asking for £2,000 per week rent and must be living in "cheaper" housing
If she was living in an "£2,000 per week" flat and only claiming £166 a week rent but making up the rest herself.... then it meant her earnings were too high to claim in the first place

Anyway, without being technical my basic point is that ALARM BELLS should have rung EARILER!
