Lucy Mecklenburgh has revealed that she met up with ex-fiancé Mario Falcone after he was granted special permission to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house during filming. The Only Way Is Essex star said that they bumped into each other at the American Embassy in London. Falcone was allowed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house in order to obtain a US visa so he can film with his TOWIE castmates in Las Vegas.

Mecklenburgh told New magazine: "I walked in, and to my shock Mario was there, four days before the final of CBB! The show's producers had agreed beforehand to let him out to get his visa. We had a chat for a little while, which was nice. I told him he was doing really well in the house and that he should be proud of himself, and he asked if I'd had a nice holiday."

Of their relationship, Mecklenburgh added: "He said he'd had a lot of time to think about things and me while he'd been in there... I was with him for a long time and I lived with him - and of course I still care about him - so I'd really like it if we can stay friends." The pair broke up in April after allegations that Falcone slept with Sugar Hut Honey Amy Broadbent.

If he was out of the house for that length of time, the producers would have had to let the other HMs know not to mention his absence from the "set" in order not to compromise filming for HLs etc!
