There are simularities, but Michelle seems far more emotionally insecure than Jade. She's attaching herself to Stu, and it's clearly making him feel trapped and uncomfortable. The girl was even trying to snog him while he was brushing his teeth!
But I think what really gets to Stu more than anything, knowing he has a superior intellect enough to get him into MENSA, is being referred to as "chicken". This is very belittling for someone with four A Levels
