Avril's so terrible, she just switches between two polar opposite personas every other single release, like either it's slutty Avril or emo Avril, there is no growth or development over the course of her career, she's literally just peddled the same two concepts for a decade and I find it really dull. With a one trick pony you know what you're getting and you can accept it for what it is; but because Avril is a two trick pony people give her way more credit than she deserves and it irritates me. She's just as one dimensional as the likes of Britney Spears, she just switches between two over-done roles "to keep it fresh" when it's anything but.
