The most controversial series of Big Brother ever because of the Racism row surrounding Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty. However, good prevailed and Shilpa was crowned the winner with 63% of the final vote. No housemates from this series appeared in Ultimate Big Brother Two housemates have since died from this series, Jade died in her sleep on 22 March 2009 aged 27 and Ken Russell died on 27 November 2011 at the age of 84.
