Well yes and actually now you mention that I totally forgot about Chico in that thread yesterday, I'd have probably included him had I remembered

I enjoy the entertaining acts but that doesn't mean I don't support talented acts that might not necessarily bring that, I just watch this show as an entertainment show because that's what it is primarily. I think anyone that sees X Factor as a bonafide, genuine talent competition with integrity is only going to get themselves pissed off eventually because it just isn't. They have advertisers and a broadcaster to please, the deliberately engineered drama is what viewers and the papers thrive on, there's a reason S7 was so popular and in the press so much and yes a good bunch of finalists was one but the incessant deadlock dramas and all the Katie/Wagner/Cher stuff was another

I usually support acts that have the 'X Factor' since that's what the underlying purpose of the show is about but in all honesty I watch it hoping for stuff like Sharon to throw water over Louis, some shock bottom twos, Louis to provide some hilarious deadlock dramas (the main reason it needs to return) and all such stuff, that's what makes this show so good, it's Saturday night primetime entertainment, if I wanted a genuine talent competition I wouldn't be finding it on the biggest commercial television channel in the UK, the two just don't go together
