For the ones you think are boring, a lot of the time it's down to editing. On later seasons loads of contestants don't break out on airtime until their boot episodes to favour other more "over edited" contestants which is a shame... one thing that is better about the earlier seasons is the much more balanced editing. One of those you listed does actually return in
All-Stars ...they can't have that many from one season to return due to the possibility of pre game alliances and to give other seasons a meaty amount of contestants, since All-Stars contains players from S1-7.
