I hate having my bday in Oct as well because most of my friends are in June-Aug so i'm nearly a whole year older than them already. Its weird when you think back to when you were 7/8 and you thought being 18/19 was really old and mature, but then when you reach that age you still feel so young

I always saw 18 as THE age where you turn into an adult, but I still feel like I'm at the point where I still have so much to learn and accomplish in life.
...not saying that most 18+ have done that but I just always have the perception that I should have already have my life route sorted by now.

When I turned 18 I was like, oh am I supposed to have done x/y/z by now because i haven't and i still feel like a child
It's actually terrifying that 10 years ago next year I started high school
