I heard a man on TV say something along the lines of, the middle east was at the forfront of the world many years ago and went to sleep, now they have 'awoken' they think they don't fit in with 'our' modern values and that we are 'scared' about them 'awakening'. If that isn't paranoia i don't know what is!

If they for one minute just shut there mouths and got on with there lives instead of caring about 'the west' then there own chances of getting back to what they were would surely increase! Why are they so infactuated with the west? A goat dies, it's the west again. I've got aids, them damn westerners... JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE AND STOP TRYING TO BLAME SOMEONE! It isn't our fault you've been 'asleep'!

Religion is once again at the forfront of all this stupidness, i just can't grasp why they chose death over life. Fighting endless battles over what? A book? A belief? A nothing? All these countries bickering about this and that should sit down and actually realise whats important in life instead of wasteing the precious time they have been given.

I'm absolutely sick of people making derogatory statements about the west, we're just about as innocent as anybody else in the world.
