All organised religion is rubbish, but the notion of a supernatural being trumps all logic, because it's faith based. Where organised religion falls down badly is when it says Adam and Eve really existed, and Noah, and Allah, and all that rubbish. It's when organised religion tries to rationalise God, give him a history on earth, and all that, that it fails.
You see, God cannot be rationalised, or proved to exist or not exist. You cannot apply science to prove Go's existence. God simply trumps all logic, and cannot be proven or disproven.
