The reason that Princess Anne made her comments is that horses are
not covered by the same legislation as livestock. That was the whole point!
You think all farmers are cruel? And you believe there is no legislation in place to minimise this? And that there are no consequences when these cases are brought to light? There are consequences including fines and imprisonment. No one's turning a blind eye, and having someone in the public eye try to start a debate is a good thing.
