Do always go to the local pub Christmas eve though which is always jolly, then go there again in the couple of hours it opens on Christmas day and leave my Mum to get the lunch ready. Rest of the day normally spent lounging around watching the box

I always went down the pub Christmas day before we had the kids, shoved the turkey in and let it do its thing while I had a few shandies. Neither of us go now
