A teenager who pretended to shoot Conservative leader David Cameron has admitted a drug charge.
The 17-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of £5 worth of cannabis following a police raid at his home.
He was fined £25 with £55 costs at the hearing at Manchester City Magistrates' Youth Court.
The teenager had been held in custody for two days after his arrest.
Officers raided his home and searched his bedroom where they found a small quantity of cannabis in a bag hidden in his wardrobe.
District Judge Wendy Lloyd said she was "concerned" that he had been kept in custody for possession of such a small quantity of cannabis.
She added: "That you have been dealt with differently causes me great concern."
The teenager made the gesture to impress fellow gang members as they followed Mr Cameron while he toured a council estate in Manchester.
The Tory leader was meeting young people to talk to them about rebuilding families and communities as a way of tackling Britain's gun-toting gang culture.
The youth, who now cannot be named for legal reasosn, told The Sun newspaper he was in a gang called Benchill Mad Dogs and made the gesture he called a "click bang" for "a laugh and a buzz".
He thought it would be "fun to showboat for the lads".
