then she was hospitalised for exhaustion, then in 2002 her father died of cancer ;__; then she brought out an album but like the last one it flopped and was critically panned. All that in two years she really couldn't catch a break could she
however she came back with The Emancipation of Mimi which was loved by critics, went 6x platinum becoming her most highest selling album in ten years, spawned two #1s and the best selling single of 2005.

much bigger comeback than Britney
