because Kian isn't as sensitive as rebecca plus rebecca behaves like she's got low self confidence at times and someone like matthew made her uneasy and her reaction to him was like "ok ok ok"
obviously Kian has feelings but when it comes to silly and even offensive insults and arguments he has no time for it and just ignores it and laughs it off but yeah he is tactful too
