Yes, the Game is not gonna turn the kid into a psycho (unlike some would have you believe) and it's not like it's hurting anyone else.
Adults just think that kids are little angels to the point that butter wouldn't melt in their mouth, but that is not true they like the violent games just like the rest of us.
