Jades excuse for that was "well shes indian, Innit, she's not going to have a name like Harris..bla bla bla, shes Indian innit, so shes going to have an Indian name".
Someone tell that dimwit, poppadom isn't an indian name, as such but rather the name of an Indian food. Indian names would be be, Sita, Geeta, Rani, Pooja. If she said any of those it would be apt, but she didn't. She used the term "poppadom" in a racially discriminative way.
