More complex intriguing anti hero characters like Gina and Dexter (who aren't white middle of the road types) at best will get big cult fan bases to keep them in but ultimately will loose in final to bland innocuous drama free excruciatingly dullards like Sam who win by virtue of doing nothing and being white* and appealling to the unimaginative casual voters and the voters who like nicey wiceys too win.

I agree with most of what you are saying except the race part it has nothing to do with that, agree that vote to evict needs to go but it too can be unpredictable sometimes boring people stay and what if three good people go up then its just as bad as vote to evict. Like week one secrets and lies either sallie, gina or dexter were going to go and to me they were all crucial housemates. I think week one needs to be a vote the bore out week.
