I don't mind the new ones, I mean Fennekin evolves into Delphox who is incredible. My friend sent me a Slurpuff too as a sort of Christmas present and my god is she amazing like she's one of the best on my team. I did pick up a Pikachu and Squirtle (who's now a Blastoise) for old times sake though.
But yeah I've been playing it near continuously. I've got all the gym badges and I'm gonna start the Pokémon League now.
