Alan Carr's always hated the show though. He didn't like when they did BB specials of Friday Night Project.
ITV promote it because channel 5 pay for ad slots, as they have done on channel 4. No point making it sound like they somehow support the show and channel 4 don't. They simply advertise things they're paid to advertise.
