Celebrity Big Brother 13 is upon us, the launch was very exciting. Emma emerged to meet the crowd, dressed all in black, and gave us an instant teaser by declaring the housemates would be experiencing "the Shackles of Celebrity". We got a house tour, revealing a jail with a toilet in it, and a heated plunge pool. The bedroom looked stunning, all the beds being doubles apart from 2.
Then it was time to meet the housemates. First in was comedian Jim Davidson, who received a great reception from the crowd, then Emma broke the news that he was about to be paired up with a fellow housemate. Linda Nolan was the next housemate to be revealed and was quickly handcuffed to Jim as the pair were sent into the house and straight to the Diary Room. They were told that they would be able to choose one pair (including themselves) to be released from the cuffs but must keep this quiet until all housemates had entered. Great twist.
5 further pairs of housemates all entered in turn; Dappy and Liz Jones, Sam Faiers and Jasmin Waltz, Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor, Ollie Locke and Lionel Blair and finally Evander Holyfield and Luisa Zissmann . Some intriguing twosomes indeed.
So the celeb housemates are in and each of the pairings seemed to take their 'shackledom' in good spirits, wonder how long it will take for the cracks to show? Who would you have opted to release from the chains that bind if you were in Jim and Linda's shoes? Watch and enjoy....
