That's the great thing about AHS, it really is like a Horror story, there are no good guys, every character is a horror story in and of themselves. Just when you start liking a character they do something ******ed up, and just when you hate a character, they do something beautiful and noble.
All of the characters are a horror in their own way, just as every life is a horror. No one is perfect and no one is evil, every character is Selfish sometimes. Just like the real world.
we are all a beautiful horror.
