Day 13: The Blindfold Boxing task
In the red corner – the Hurricane Housemates! In the blue corner – the Biggest Brother in town!
Ex-housemate Evander appeared in the House today, filling up the big screen and talking turkey about today's task. As you may already have guessed, it's a boxing task. Two teams of HMs will box clever, with Lionel as referee and coach.
Team one will be made up of Jim, Linda, Liz, Lee and Jasmine and they'll face off against Ollie, Sam, Casey, Dappy and Luisa.
The gang are going to kick off with some intense training in the garden. There'll be three training stations ready for our welter-weights to try out their skills: The Skipping Rope Station, The Sit Up Station and The Punch Machine.
After a hard-going warm-up session, they'll return to the living area where Big Brother has constructed a special boxing ring. On each side of the ring there are several pop-up targets of the housemates' faces – all of which can be activated by Big Brother.
During the task, one Housemate from each team is blindfolded and made to stand facing the other in the centre of the ring. Big Brother will ask a question (based on quotes from the Housemates) and three targets will pop up as possible answers. Housemates will have to shout out and guide their blindfolded team mate to punch down the right target, using a jab, uppercut, left hook, right hook or a haymaker. Whichever punch they choose.
