I like Azealia Banks but she's too new to really be considered one of the greats and her career may well have ended before it even started. I like Trina, Lady, Foxy Brown, Khia et al in an ironic way but they more or less restrict themselves to talking about the same **** over and over which is a bit mind numbing. Iggy Azalea has the potential to be one of the greatest of all time. Nicki Minaj is a parody of herself but Roman's Revenge, her feature on Kanye's track Monster, her song Massive Attack... they all show signs of a brilliant rapper. Wish she'd ditch the pop-lite rapping **** for a while and focus on establishing herself instead of featuring all over the place.

there's never been a standout female rapper before, they all just get to a certain height of fame and then fizzle out or disappear, there are lots of big male rappers who could be considered legends (in years to come), but only 1 or 2 female ones
