I might agree with you if he had pulled out an unrelated issue during their first argument, but this is him trying to defend himself against a constant assault from Linda, especially as she is turning the house against him and he knows that his role in getting her hubby arrested is at the heart of her hatred towards him. If someone constantly berated me for helping bring a relative to justice, and people were being poisoned against me, I would want the facts made public whether their loved one was dead, dying or sat beside me so as to clear the air. I agree with you. What he did was horrible but she has been trying to get him to do something like this for two weeks!
