I didn't think there was anything wrong with Jim asking Luisa about her being single. What's wrong with that? He could have asked the same question of any of the other single men or women in the house. It's a good question because it's a conversational opening. The fact that Linda leapt onto it and made an enormous drama out of it is entirely about her. I cannot stand her behaviour. She has been spoiling for an argument ever since they entered the house, and Jim has been wondering why. If he feels that it's something to do with the dressing room thefts, then it's not surprising that he brought it up, given the way she had been haranguing him earlier about coming clean about his feelings. She got what she asked for. I suspect that her tears were just another form of trying to get everyone on board with her. Plus she lied when she accused Jim of saying something derogatory when he left the room at one point. She's acting like a sour, twisted old bat, in my opinion.
