Regardless of what people expect from the house, if someone is tired then they just want sleep... they won't think about what they should have expected, they will just be wanting sleep. If Jim wants to sleep then NO ONE has the right to tell him he is wrong for doing so - and this isn't the first time this has happened. I am only 24 and the behaviour in that house would do my head in...
And what bugs me the most is people criticising Jim for not liking the screaming... but he doesn't make a massive issue about it. He takes himself off into the garden or living room to patiently wait for quiet (or them to fall asleep)... he doesn't kick off and complain. Until those certain people purposely try to annoy him... and even then he just tells them to f off.
