I think your theory makes more sense if Jim DOESN'T want Liz to go - he knows the two of them will consistently be put up so he's trying to get other people up against them and out. Jim seems to understand why the public are voting for him in their droves so I think perhaps he'll continue to vote unpredictably if he survives.

If Liz goes, however, the housemates are going to have to change who they vote for anyway. All of the remaining housemates apart from Jim nominated Liz this time around. If she goes, they still have to nominate two people every time they're asked to nominate. Suddenly the big group is going to have to turn in on itself. I wouldn't be surprised if Dappy and Linda are the first to be turfed out if that were to happen.
