Some readers get entirely the wrong end of the stick from their reporting. Do you have a link to any press articles about it?

I hadn't seen Jim on the TV before, but I watched a segment of one of his shows on Youtube recently. He didn't strike me as any worse than a lot of the other comedians doing the comedy circuit and actually he was funnier - he had enough good material to cut out the offensive stuff and still have a great show - a better one actually, because it wouldn't have hurt anyone. If people booed or didn't laugh at the offensive stuff, then he'd stop doing it. I think the audience are equally to blame for encouraging him by laughing. The offensive stuff in his routine was about fat women.. He could easily have made it more acceptable by saying that he needs to go on a diet, then made the same types of jokes about himself.

So far on BB, he has behaved appropriately and he hasn't come out with anything offensive. He wants to change his image and that can only be a good thing.

I think people weren't supporting him because they're fans. They were supporting him because of the way he's handled Linda and what he's brought to the show.
Exactly. I admire people who make the effort to change. He got the help he needed and he's happy in his life now.
