Designers prefer skinny girls to show off their clothes thats just the way it is. And no you don't have to be a size 0 where did you get that from? All the runway and photoshoot standard sample sizes are made in a size 8 to fit most models but there are smaller ones and larger ones as well. Some models that were 'accused' of being a size 0 have actually quoted themselves that they are no way near a size 0.
