Self-harm does not immediately mean Linda would have to be removed as many people self-harm until afforded a more positive, less harmful alternative, and it may have been concluded that the opportunity this show provided her outweighed the current risks in terms of a risk/benefit analysis.
Jim did not make Linda self harm. Linda self-harmed and it may have been due to her relationship with Jim or any other stressor. This is probably not the first time she has done so, and Jiim was unlikely to have been there every time. Hence, if the headline, for which Linda has been paid, states it is his fault, people are within their rHer sister died late last year and she had depression before going intiights to berate her for what seems to me to be a very low blow.

Linda's sister died late last year and she had been suffering with depression before entering the house...so whatever reason she is giving for self harming it certainly has nothing to do with her relationship with Jim or anything he has done.
