It failed on E4 cause they showed two of the worst seasons (4 and 9). I bet BB6, 10 and 11 would've performed better, especially the latter two

BBAUS might've tweaked the noms process but it's still largely the same. The house nominates, the public votes. That's not really what I'd call an 'alternative format' personally, just a tweaked one.

Have any of you watched more than idk say ten episodes of BBUS and some of the feeds? I don't think you can judge a show like that till you've given it a proper go. It is definitely a different show altogether from BBUK, on that I will concede and yes it almost certainly is a gameshow rather than a reality show (although it's still people living in a house playing a game which ****s with you emotionally, so it evokes the same kinda reactions BBUK does) but I much prefer that, there's far more dynamics and layers and having the feeds still available makes it even more interesting to watch the game unfold week by week. Plus there's no public vote which is hands down the best part cause if your favourite gets evicted it's either through poor game play or a twist that didn't go in their favour, not moronic voters destroying every inch of entertainment

I still like BBUK don't get me wrong, but the US format ****s all over ours and I actually in all honesty prefer the way the shows are edited (not the way the houseguests are portrayed before someone pulls me up on this, but the slickness of the edits themselves). People complain about the tacky music the UK show uses but it's done much more effectively and in a way which actually enhances the show on BBUS and BBCAN
