Well you don't seem to watch the feeds so I think it's a fair assumption you don't watch them just because they block the comps and ceremonies
I never denied they are limited? I even said in my last post I wish they didn't block the comps and ceremonies and I wish they didn't do these whole weekends worth of downtime (which happens more on BBCAN than BBUS but that'll be down to the fact US feeds are on a subscription, these are free so really they can do what they want) but they do because they want to save bits for the episodes so that people who watch the feeds still have a reason to tune in. It's the episodes that make the money so that's obviously the part of the show they're trying to enhance.
You've totally misinterpreted what I said. Obviously the HoH and Veto winners are integral to the game but you don't need to see the comps live to find out who won, when they return 15 minutes after the competition is over you can find out who won through the discussions on the feeds within minutes. The actual results of the comp are what is important, not the comp itself...they could do a coin tossing competition for all I care, it's the results that matter the competitions are just to make it look flashy and fun on the episodes.
We get to see people sucking up to the HoH for 36 hours on the feeds from when the eviction episode finishes to when the feeds go down Saturday morning for the ceremony, they then return and we see 12-24 hours of fallout before they go down for the Veto comp and then we get to see 24 hours of more scrambling and sucking up before they're taken down for the final time for the Veto meeting. And then after that we get 72 hours of vote-flipping as the nominees campaign. So what's that - 156ish hours of game talk, strategy, sucking up and scrambling across the week? Compared to how much during the three 40 minute episodes...what, like an hour all in all when you factor out the competitions themselves and the random fun bits they like to throw in?
Yeah, I think I know what's more important out of the feeds and episodes. By not watching them just cause you don't get to see some people throwing t-shirts into a suitcase play out for 90 minutes you're actually missing the real storylines unfold day to day, not the rushed and unrepresentative edits the main show gives you. But whatever, the feeds have their issues and yes we'd all like them to be on all the time but they're not, that doesn't mean they aren't useful and integral for the stuff we do get to see though
