No he wasn't, because if he had stayed Neda
would have targeted him and not Allison out of fear of what he'd do if he survived again and because there'd have been no chance for him to save himself. That's another point he sold to them three as part of his campaign, that if he stayed and one of those four didn't win HoH, Arlie was still prime target number one and not them, whereas without him they were all exposed and Allison should have known she was going to be the next in the line considering how badly the Sloppy Seconds had treated her.
It was a stupid move and quite rightly it's come back to haunt them all. Oh, and people liked it because seeing them realise it was stupid is very amusing. I liked Allison, but she made some very bizarre decisions in this game and she got what was coming to her.
