Agreed. It was a huge risk, which is why Channel 4 will never do such a thing like that again because they are ashamed, in some aspects, of BB5! This is why the BB6 and BB7 advertising campaigns have been toned down completely, and why the housemates are quite slopy and unspectacular nowadays.
Evil Big Brother is what made Channel 4 ashamed, because it looked lame, ridiculous and just exaggerated, especially with Black Friday.
Not just the advertising, but the show itself made them the producers ashamed (Kitten's constant rule-breaking, Fight Night, Nadia). This is why Channel 4 revealed that BB6 wouldn't be as evil as BB5, and wanted a "happy-go-lucky" theme, with a little bitchiness and unlucky twists galore too.
