If you were an average viewer or you'd never watched Channel 5 Big Brother (bearing in mind a lot of people still think Big Brother ended in 2011 on Channel 4) and they just advertised it as a normal Big Brother they'd get a lot more people tuning in then what they normally do.

Last year's 'Secrets & Lies' theme was heavily promoted before the series and it ended up being C5's highest rating civilian series to date...
