I think it's the same as all the other housemates that have gone before that are liked by people.They don't have talent in anything they just appeal to some people and they get fans from just being themselves.
For me I always tend to like the housemates that are nice people that don't bitch and are also not the really media hungry people that others are.
For me it's about getting the level of exposure right without selling their souls to stay in the papers.

I agree totally. In later years (in the normal BB at least) it seems that the people who become the bigger stars are the ones who aren't actually very nice people. I prefer to see nicer, more sensible people (which is why I couldn't get into BB7 at all).

Yeah, and I'm certainly not knocking Chantelle as a person...she really does seem like a nice girl, but it just seems that once someone has said that, there's nothing more to say about her!
I still don't think she would have won a normal BB though - she doesn't seem to have the bitchy element that seems to be a pre-requisite these days. She may well have been voted out at the earliest opportunity. Although of course, it would all depend on the other housemates and what they were like.
