Compared to the James Bulger case, for example. His mum had her back turned for a second and those awful boys took her son away. The McCanns left their kids alone in an unlocked apartment in a foreign country while they went out to get drunk with their friends. So irresponsible and it makes me very angry that they've 1) become celebrities out of this and 2) have profited out of the public's sympathy for a little blonde white girl whose parents are middle class doctors. If they were from a council estate nobody would feel sorry for them, would they? The double standards make me so angry.
