Physical violence is a natural human reaction to being threatened. Marco and Emma faced off against much larger and physically stronger opponents witht the knowledge they woud be seen as victims if either jason and victor gave way to their natural emotions. Marco is training to be a lawyer, and out of anyone in the house, he must hve known thatif Jason had belted him, the video evidence of his provocation would probably result in Jon escaping prosecution.
