It is not uncommon for an American to be completely clueless when it comes to geography outside the borders of US and A. Kimberley can easily get geography questions wrong and still be relatively intelligent compared to other people. General knowledge is not an indication of a person's intelligence in any event. You can have a person with an IQ of 90 with a huge wealth of information swilling about in their head. You can also have a person with an IQ of 190 living alone on a desert island who is unaware that the rest of the world even exists, let alone know facts about geography, history, science etc
