Nobody said that.
The point is that the person's upbringing doesn't always decide how they will turn out. It's not as simple as "person shows disrespect = bad upbringing". Sure, many times the upbringing does effect this stuff, but not all the time. That's what people are saying.
Nobody said that renders a good upbringing worthless.
As for "ignorant", slamming someone's parents while knowing nothing of the facts regarding their upbringing isn't ignorant then?
