How she treated him? - WTH - She had a perfectly normal reaction to finding out something she would rather not know or have to keep to herself. She told the 2 people she was closest too in a knee jerk reaction and didn't take it any further. He wasn't harmed by it in the least.
Chris is a big fave of mine and I wasn't bothered by her reaction at all.
