She's being nicer because she got a warning and she doesn't want to be kicked out. It's all about Helen. What happened to the girl 'who couldn't help herself' - she has proved that she CAN help herself if she wants to and could have done so with her previous disgusting rants. She has suddenly found self - control because it suits her.
