It is. Real turned him down like they have with a million other players that have turned out to be good players. But thats not my point.
Fergie turned down james to sign bebe who he had never seen before for 2.5m more than james was worth.
Now.. That is my point. Real madrid did not do this.
The fact we signed a crap player like bebe instead makes this so much worse. Also this was also done few weeks after we rejected james.
It started to be a reoccuring thing with fergie in his latter years.
