Do you realise the trouble that it would cause endemol and channel 5 if there was dodgy goings on with the votes? and they have no need to want Ash to stay over Matthew anyway...
It's a simple case of Ash getting less votes to evict than Matthew for numerous reasons but people that wanted Ash out just can't accept it.
