Hahah oh god on my first day of uni when I met my flatmates, one of them asked me if I could analyse her dreams
yeah it is the sort of common understanding that Psychology is all about body language etc... If I was Pav I'd want to be getting away from that perception and show that my degree is worth a little more than that!

That is true. I specialised in neuroscience in my final year so had very little experience of social dynamics etc. Though I can confirm that there was no module called "Reading people's minds and understanding game plans"
