I disagree. Everyone in there bitches. Chris is friends with Ashleigh and that's who he's going to talk to in private. However, unlike the malicious bitching going in elsewhere, Chris has never been shown gossiping or saying anything nasty - simply commenting on the nasty actions of others. Ashleigh has said some bitchy things, but it is mostly coming from her defending herself. Look at the Jale 'uncool kid' comment, he stated she was acting different and Danielle and Ashleigh said stuff along the lines of 'her head is up Helen's arse' and Chris never acknowledged the comment or said anything similar. He can think for himself and most viewers can see that. He has also been friends with Ashleigh for weeks now and if he suddenly dropped her that would look way worse for him. I felt like there was a degree of one dragging down the other in Toya and Ashleigh and Ashleigh and Danielle, but not with her and Chris.
