All it'll take is for someone to convince Ashleigh that he's been saying things behind her back and for her to send him away... then it's pretty accurate!
Also, she's always talking about her soft toys and dog... and Daenerys didn't stop bleating about her "Dwaginz" for two full seasons!
I think it's a pretty good comparison. Young, blonde, oddly powerful, stronger sense of justice than those around her, but a bit bratty with a temper.
(She's nowhere near as bratty as Khalisi though... does my head in...)
