I got stung for the first time last year....I have always managed to freak out enough to get away from them in the past but a bee was resting on my washing and I went to bring the washing in and it stung me
I felt kind of sad coz it would die. I quite often put sugar water out for bees but wasps better not come near me
I try to be braver around them now so my little boy doesn't get my fear (I was terrified when he was tiny that if there was a wasp around I would abandon him in his pram and leg it if one came near us).
