Frankie's a vile little rat!!!!
I have no time for religion anyway but just on a personal level that's a horrible thing to say about someone, especially when she's trying to be so supportive after he's lost a family member!

I personally think Frankie's thinking more about how the situation with his Grandfather can be used to his benefit rather than him being genuinely distraught. He's all about himself.
